Lauren is a multi- NYT bestselling author, TV show creator, and producer. She has written twenty books under three pen names, including multiple bestsellers for teens and an epic dystopian sci-fi satire for adults, an homage to Douglas Adams, and a cult favorite of the RPG set. According to detractors, she is both a man and possibly a sexist. Can’t win ‘em all.

Lauren is the first person in Hollywood history to create, executive produce, and write every episode of a tv show (PANIC)...as her first TV/ film writing credit. Her second TV show, THE HEIRESS, is currently in development at her home studio, Amazon, where her production company additionally has a first-look deal in TV. Under the pact with Amazon, Lauren’s company has collaborated on the studio’s first multi-format development deals to simultaneously develop, create, and produce books, TV shows, and audio content simultaneously. At her previous story creation company, Glasstown Entertainment, Lauren perfected a model for co-creating books with important voices and for major talents, resulting

in the publication of more than 110 books and the launch of more than fifty new authors. Known as something of a story savant, Lauren has done work as a story consultant, notably for Chris Meledandri at Illumination Entertainment. Lauren holds an MFA in creative writing from NYU and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Chicago as a Student Marshal, a special honor awarded to the top 1 percent of the graduating class.
